Keum-boo is an ancient Korean goldsmithing technique in which 24ct gold is permanently fused onto sterling silver through heat and pressure, without solder or adhesive. The gold does not sit on the surface, it becomes part of it. A bond as enduring as the intention behind the piece.

Hand-forged by Fabio Oliveira  (shortlisted for the DCCI Future Makers Award 2024) in Cork, Ireland, from 100% recycled sterling silver and 24ct gold keum-boo, sourced from responsible Jewellery Council-certified supplier.
