Alchemy Fire Pendant — Sterling Silver & Hessonite Garnet

A relic of creative collaboration. A physical manifesto of fire.

The Alchemy Fire Pendant was forged at the intersection of craft and performance art, born from the Alchemy Project, an international creative collaboration between jewellers and musicians who came together to create wearable art. The first piece of this project is currently exhibited in Barcelona, and this pendant carries the energy of everyone who made it possible.

At its centre, a hessonite garnet, its smouldering, cinnamon-hued depths mirroring the very essence of flame, anchors the piece in its concept. The element of fire: transformation, intensity, and the irreversible act of creation. The garnet's depth of colour, the solid weight of the silver and the deliberate force of the design do not suggest fire. They embody it.

This is not a piece for those who collect objects. It is for those who collect stories.

Hand-forged by Fabio Oliveira, shortlisted for the DCCI Future Makers Award 2024, in Cork, Ireland, from 100% recycled sterling silver, sourced from a responsible Jewellery Council-certified supplier, set with a natural hessonite garnet.
